"LUCKY STRIKE: WWII Army Air Force Navigators" is a series of 9 oil paintings dedicated to the memory of my father William Holub, a decorated World War II veteran, who died in 2009 at the age of 90. They are based on 1942 photographs of the officer candidates with whom he trained in San Marcos, TX.

"Sherman Zeldes, Detroit, MI" received the Best-In-Show award from Jen Mergel, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts/Boston, in the Cambridge Art Association's 2008 national juried exhibition.
